Automatic Subway Turnstile

The digital systems design of an automatic subway turnstile using a 555 Timer, a J-K FlipFlop and a Hex Inverter. The design uses 2 buttons to represent the user's actions of entering a ticket and using the turnstile. The state of the turnstile locked or unlocked was outputted from the 555 Timer to two LEDs.

Project to learn SolidWorks Assembly better and 3D print an RC boat with a functional controller, battery pack, motor driver, microcontroller, dc and servo motor and steering mechanism.

Regolith Collection Robotic Arm

University project in partnership with the Canadian Space Agency, to build a prototype for regolith collection on astroid 101955 Bennu. I chose to build a robotic arm with a 1D extension utilizing 2 DC motors for large and fine adjustments.

Beer Blaster McMaster Designathon

Submission to the McMaster Designation for the company, Drunk Engineers. The goal of the competition was to create a fun drinking device; so we decided to create a device to consume beer faster than ever before.

Home Health Monitor

Arduino based project using the DHT and MQ135 sensors to measure temperature, humidity and hazardous gas. Features of this project include the ability to set certain thresholds for LED's and warning messages on the LCD screen, live plots of each sensor's readings through the Arduino serial plotter and integration through the local COM port to python for additional data extrapolation and management.
